A textual mark would be a written word or phrase ("Apple"). A form or design would be a graphic logo (like an apple). A sound is a jingle or other audio sound used to identify the source of the goods or services (like the "Windows sound"). If you are seeking to register multiple forms (e.g., a logo together with a textual name), each is a separate trademark registration and each requires a separate General Counsel Online Trademark Registration Service Package. Please complete this interview for one of the forms, and purchase an additional Service Package for the other form(s).
The entry can be in capital letters, lower case letters, or a combination thereof. Do not include the ™, ℠, ®, or © symbols after the mark entry, because they are not part of the actual mark. Please include the generic part of the mark -- e.g., the kinds of goods or services that the mark will designate: e.g., soap, tennis rackets, automobiles, food product, accounting service, etc.
Please open your Slack Channel in General Counsel Online
and upload the best quality image or audio file rendering of the mark that you possess. Please use a generally recognized file formats (BMP, JPG, PNG, GIF, TIFF or PDF for images and MP3, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, WMA, PCM). When you are finished uploading, please return here and complete the interview.
