Document Creation Service Package
Fee
$250.00
This fee is a Baseline Fee, which is the cost to initiate Document Creation and provide a statement of work for a Final Fee. The Baseline Fee is non-refundable.
The Final Fee is in addition to the Baseline Fee and is based on a variety of factors:
- The complexity of the document — the number issues that it will need to address and the number and nature of the collateral documents that must be taken into account in its construction.
- The number and nature of stakeholders involved in the document.
- The size of the document and the amount of new authorship required
- The likely number of review cycles.
- The need for specialized research, investigation or ancillary work.
Based on these factors, the Final Fee will range from $200 to $1,000 +.
Details
GCO prepares all kinds of written documents, ranging from opinion letters to letters asserting your rights, to commercial contracts, to confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, intellectual property licenses and assignments, independent contractor agreements, license agreements, vendor service agreements, investor financing documents, term sheets, company policy documents and other business documents.
Process
Document Creation starts with your request, a brief questionnaire and a live meeting, where the nature, scope and probable size of the document is determined. GCO will then follow up with you in a written statement of work to confirm your requirements and their scope and size and the cost of a Final Fee for drafting, delivery and signature of a final document. Thereafter follows a series of draft-and-review iterations to ensure that the resulting document will best serve your business and legal needs. When we are both satisfied with the document, we deliver you a final document, ready for signature. Document Creation includes signature management, which provides for transmission to and signature by contract counterparties.
Services & Deliverables
Once Final Payment is made, GCO will perform the following services and deliver the following artifacts:
- Document Review of collateral documents associated with the proposed document to be created. For instance, prior contracts with other counterparties.
- Stakeholder Interviews and conversations. GCO will reach out to a reasonable number of people that you designate to state their interests in and requirements of the document.
- Preliminary Draft of the document is sent to you on a mutually agreeable schedule. We schedule a meeting to review the document before going into revisions.
- Revision & Review cycles. New versions of the document reflecting the latest round of reviews are provided until there are no outstanding issues and the document is ready to be finalized.
- Final Document. A complete, executable version of the document is provided in a variety of different formats for internal review and approval (if necessary).
- Document Signature. Included in the Document Creation Service Package is eSignature — a method of obtaining and authenticating signatures necessary to create a legally-binding contract.
