Invoice: Love USA Transportation Plan to Address Issues

Love USA Transportation has 3 issues of great concern to the business.

1. A judgment that was issued based on litigation with a leasing company in connection with an accident involving a leased vehicle.  As I understand from Bektash, they have been awarded over $100,000 and are pursuing it by means of a lien, an attachment, or perhaps garnishment.
2. An unpaid insurance claim for reimbursement for the accident.
3. A revoked Motor Carrier license (I am assuming this is from the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission).  I understand that your transportation business cannot operate without a license.

There may be other issues I haven’t identified – this proposal includes only the above issues.  If there are other issues to be dealt with, you may incur additional expenses having me address them.

Here are the actions that I would propose to take for now, until I understand more:

1. I need to obtain and review all of the documents related to each of the above issues. So, in other words, I need all court-related documents, including those related to the accident case and the judgment. I need all documents and communications you have had with the leasing company, lawyers, insurance companies, banks, state or federal government agencies, or any other party related to any of the above issues.
2. I need to speak with Love USA employees with personal knowledge of this matter.
3. I need to speak with your insurance agent and perhaps your insurance company.

Based on these actions, I will provide you with a strategy for addressing these issues.

My fixed price for the above services is $1,500.  This fee does not include taking actions to actually implement the strategy I recommend.  Once I have provided you with a strategy, I will tell you how much I will charge to actually carry out and implement the strategy, and you may choose to enter into a separate contract to provide those services.  I will also tell you if there are any activities that I am unable to implement (for example, my firm does not do litigation).  In that case, I may, with our permission, contact other lawyers to assist.

This engagement is governed by the terms of the GCO agreement with your company.  The fee is refundable upon your request until the services are rendered, less payment processing fees, which are on average about 3% of the purchase price. If services have been partially rendered, you are entitled to a reasonable partial refund.   Refunds will be credited to the credit card that you used to purchase the services.
